November 10th: West Seattle Fall Fundraiser

• The West Seattle Helpline has an annual Fall Fundraiser Dinner every November.  This year we were able to raise enough funds to help 80 families in West Seattle!  Thank you to all who were a part of the event.

June 12th, 2012: Act of Giving sponsors the West Seattle Helpline 

• The Act of Giving Foundation grants the West Seattle Helpline $5,000 with the purpose to empower organizations whose goal it is to improve the quality of life for people living in underserved, underprivileged, or impoverished communities. The Helpline appreciates the support of AGF and the willingness to assist the working families of West Seattle.

May 17th, 2012:  Taste of West Seattle 2012 was a great success. Thank you to all involved!

• The Hall of Fauntleroy hosted 51 food and beverage vendors for the Taste of West Seattle. The beneficiaries of the event were the clients of the West Seattle Helpline and the enthusiastic community members who were itching to taste the bites from local businesses. Taste sponsor Metropolitan Market-Admiral donated $7,500 towards families facing a one-time emergency. Thanks to all the contributors who made the event a success.

May 2nd, 2012: The CoHo Team of Windermere Agents sponsors the West Seattle Helpline

• The CoHo Team of Windermere Agents matched any donations received on May 2nd for the Seattle Foundation's GiveBig Campaign by up to $2,500. At the end of the day $7500 was awarded to the West Seattle Helpline

DEC 17th, 2011: Musica Sacra Chamber Chorale-Christmas Concert at Holy Rosary

• MSCC is a semi-professional community chamber chorale comprised of selected singers from Seattle and its surrounding communities. In 2011 the Chember Chorale partnered with the West Seattle Helpline to help needy families in the Winter by having guests donate a Winter set of Hats/Scarfs/Gloves for reduced ticket prices. Over 30 families benefited from the Christmas concert.

DEC 3rd, 2011: St. Nicholas Faire Fundraiser w/ Board Member Rev. Ron Marshall at First Lutheran Church

• The 3rd Annual St. Nicolas Faire brought in good cheers and a combination of gift baskets to be auctioned off. Proceeds of the fundraiser benefited the clients of the West Seattle Helpline during the holidays. Many thanks to all the individuals who attended and First Lutheran for their support.

NOV 3rd, 2011: 14th Annual Fall Fundraiser

• Every year the Helpline puts together a Fall fundraiser to start off the season of giving. "The Gift of Warmth" is spread through out the West Seattle community as the fundraiser grows yearly. The Helpline is grateful for the support of neighbors!
